FullHR is looking for a Part-Time to Full-Time experienced Payroll administrative assistant to join our team in our Charlotte office. This person will work to support the daily operations of the office. The ideal candidate is a high-energy individual with excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications. Responsibilities: Facilitate and Coordinate Client Payroll Submission: Prepares and processes payroll and associated information. Collates and verifies data and inputs into the payroll system. Updates payroll records and processes routine changes to employee records. Performs basic reconciliation and auditing processes during each pay cycle. Responds to pay-related inquiries. Researches and resolves errors or omissions. May prepare and submit reports and forms required by IRS or other regulatory bodies. Follows all processing procedures, adheres to policies, and maintains confidentiality. Reports to a supervisor. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of Communication, Payroll and Client Business requirements. Field inbound communications - Answer phone calls/general email inquiries and route to the appropriate internal parties as needed. Coordinate scheduling - Set up client training meetings based on cross-functional availability for both internal and external stakeholders. Communicate policies and procedures - Alert clients and employees of banking holidays, new processes, rules and regulations. Advance to Full-Time - After solidifying your expertise Great opportunities are available w Requirements : Associate diploma or greater 1-2 years experience as a Payroll Administrator or Payroll Assistant preferred Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel and Word) Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment Positive, high-energy attitude Self-Efficacy : Resourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving skill set Familiarity with office equipment (i.e. printers, fax machines, projectors) Company Overview Since 2001 FullHR, a well-established Outsourced Services company located in Charlotte is seeking an Assistant Payroll Specialist. You must also have at least three year's experience in the industry of Insurance, Payroll, Human Resources, and/or Benefit Enrollment. The dress attire is business casual.
