Job Summary Job Description FIG Solutions Sales, Associate What is the opportunity? Actively participate in the growth of a newly formed group with a strategic mandate Live execution and marketing responsibilities in a dynamic and fast-moving market Coverage of liquid and bespoke products to US-based Insurance and FI clients alongside senior team members Direct interaction with a high-profile, sophisticated client base Partner with other parts of the bank including Investment Banking, Equity Derivatives, DCM, SRM and Corporate Banking What will you do? Coverage of US-based Insurance and FI clients Execute live transactions including swaps, swaptions and bond derivatives Get clients set up to transact with RBC Identify opportunities and develop marketing materials related to new and existing products and structures to the Insurance and FI client base Model derivative trades Create custom analyses and presentations for clients Engage with and liaise with key partners, including Global Equities, Commodities, Rates, FX, Macro, Credit, Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, etc. Proactively identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions on a timely basis. Book trades and suggest initiatives for automation and improvement What do you need to succeed? Associate or Sr. Analyst with experience in the financial markets and rates business Knowledge of basic bond math is required Order management systems and client coverage booking Well-developed interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office tools Series 7, and 63 What's in it for you?
