Job Details Level Experienced Job Location Medford MA - Medford, MA Position Type Full Time Salary Range $31.00 - $38.00 Travel Percentage None Job Shift 1st Shift Job Description Job Description - Maintenance Planner Monogram Foods is seeking a motivated Maintenance Planner/Scheduler (MPS) to be a part of Monogram's operation. This position, which reports to the Plant engineer, is responsible for the efficient and effective use of planning and scheduling resources that perform maintenance at the facility. The primary objective is to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. In order to fulfill these responsibilities in the most effective manner, the MPS is empowered to manage work priorities, develop job plans, define parts and materials, define crafts and skills, and engage the proper resources to develop a safe, effective, and efficient work control plan. In addition, the Maintenance Planner/Scheduler provides equipment-related expertise and technical guidance on improving Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities. The Ideal Candidate will have the Following Qualifications 5 or more years of manufacturing maintenance, purchasing, inventory, or related experience are required. 3 or more years of experience with computerized maintenance management programs. A mechanical/electrical background is necessary. An apprenticeship program or technical school background is desirable. Have adequate craft knowledge and skill to accurately estimate labor hours, material requirements, and skills needed to complete a job. Must have a demonstrated ability to visualize and communicate the execution of work. Should have good written and verbal communication skills and have demonstrated the ability to be approachable and tactful. Strong math skills and computer skills. Solid organizational and planning skills. Demonstrated ability to write and provide simple and accurate instructions. Demonstrated ability to read standard blueprints, and machine and process drawings. Has the ability to sketch or redline existing drawings. Knowledge and understanding of the maintenance processes and proper use of the work order system, planning and scheduling, and storeroom processes. Can manage multiple priorities or projects simultaneously and keep them progressing to completion. Must have a reputation that is respected by production, maintenance labor, maintenance management, and store personnel. ** Must be 18 years or older to work at Monogram Foods **
