Our foodservice business supplies many of the top restaurant chains in the United States. Overview: The Senior Human Resources Manager leads the field HRBPs located in plants throughout the US. This role will also provide direct HRBP support to a variety of Supply Chain functions and leaders at all levels. This role is responsible for providing coaching, leadership and the delivery of services to Build Capability, maximize Associate Engagement, and deliver HR results for multiple facilities across the Marzetti footprint. In this role, the incumbent works closely with an agile HR team to serve key internal customers supporting their talent needs to drive their business. This role will partner closely with the HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) including, but not limited to, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards and HR Analytics on day-to-day processes as well as continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Partners to create strategic plant business plans and provides strategic HR guidance to leaders at multiple levels aligning HR initiatives with business objectives. Embed a culture of continuous improvement and effective change management. Develops in partnership with Plant HR Leaders a variety of human resources, labor relations and talent strategies. This includes the organization's human resource strategy so that the organization attracts, manages, develops and retains the employees it needs to achieve its current and future business objectives. Provides strategic HR support by facilitating succession planning, career pathing and the performance appraisal process. Facilitates the thinking, discussion and decisions within the organization in regard to role clarity, organizational changes and its impact on the business. Identify future required capability and talent (i.e. communications, job descriptions, organization structure and compensation competitiveness) and pro-actively drive actions to achieve business results. Lead and develop site HR team members; accomplish work through the extended HR team. Ensure, through strong accountability and clear expectations, their day-to-day work and project/department milestones/goals are met. Provides support and guidance to plant leadership teams and functional Directors. Advise on organizational policy matters and recommend needed changes. Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of policies and practices. Act as a Culture of Listening Champion by driving participation in listening activities, consistent interpretation of data and actioning of change needed based on with leaders across the business. Maximize associate engagement and minimize undesired activity. Maintain positive associate, corporate and community relations. Qualifications: BS/BA degree in HR or similar field preferred, or equivalent work experience. 8+ years of human resources experience. 2+ years of experience managing a team of HR Professionals. Prior experience in retail or consumer products is preferred. Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft office tools. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to take on great capacity, prioritize, focus and execute. Able to manage multiple projects and issues simultaneously. Highly effective in influencing and using critical thinking to drive the solve for. Applies situational leadership to appropriate stakeholders and business conditions. Capable of taking concepts/project and creating presentations, frameworks and using templates True understanding of business partnership understands the business strategies and interprets the talent tactics required to support those strategies. High levels of resourcefulness, influence/organizational savvy, execution skills (strategy through implementation). Supervisory Responsibility: Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, goal-setting, scheduling, appraising and terminating employees; planning, assigning and directing work of plant Human Resources staff; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complains/issues and resolving problems. Provides direction and oversight to plant HR managers. Periodic travel to each plant by auto or air travel is required.
