Inside the Role As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, you will be supporting the North America Region (US, Canada, Mexico) with analysis on current Risk trends. You will assist in developing, implementing statistical analytical tools and systems, with a focus on the collections and acquisitions processes. This data-centric role aims to analyze and solve problems by employing expertise from various disciplines, such as statistics, mathematics, and advanced analytics in support of well defined business goals. You will also participate in future projects and initiatives such as Dealer Rating system upgrade and Credit Decision Engine programming. This is a DTFS Band 92 position. The successful candidate for this position will need to reside in the Charlotte/Fort Mill area and will work from our new Fort Mill, South Carolina area location. Up to 25% travel may be required through Q3 2026 for training and knowledge transfer What You Drive at DTFS Produce insights to complex business problems using internal and external (industry, macroeconomics) data in ways that assist in translating organizational problem statements into actionable decision-making practices. You will also be responsible for giving presentations to various business stakeholders in close coordination with other team members. Analyze various data systems and data sets to discover new insights; apply findings to develop new acquisition, auto-decisioning, scorecards, risk-based collection, recovery and other credit risk related strategies Data extraction and validation for ad hoc analyses, reporting and model development Provide data-centric consulting to internal customers in order to guide strategic business decisions Maintain and program Decision Engine with Auto Decisioning, Business Process Rules Assist in developing, testing, implementing and documenting new Acquisition Scoring and Rating models Evaluating and developing expertise in emerging analytics techniques, tools, and methodologies Knowledge You Should Bring High School Diploma or GED 5+ years overall work experience 3+ years in Business, Credit or Finance 1+ years in Risk Management Expertise in multiple analytics, statistical software packages and libraries including Python, R, Vertica, Hadoop, Tableau, SAS, SQL, MS Azure cloud platform and Databricks Good hands-on experience in developing creative presentations Strong communication and presentation skills Exceptional Candidates Might Have Bachelor or Masters' degree preferred with focus on one or more of the following areas - Risk, Mathematics; Statistics, Business Analytics Experience in captive finance or banking industry Experience in developing acquisitions or collections scorecards Where We Work This position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) the following location(s)- Fort Mill, SC US YOU MAKE US - YOU MAKE THE DIFFERENCE People are what makes us - everyone makes the difference at Daimler Truck.
