Locum - Physician - Anesthesiologist Lansing MI

Sparrow Lansing is looking for a locum Anesthesiologists per day to provide coverage beginning ASAP ongoing. There are is 1 FTE need, but they will take someone who can atleast cover 5 days a Month. Will consider providers with 5 shifts minimum 7a-5:30p (30 minute lunch included) ; 10hr days 5 days per week (Monday to Friday) The locums usually only work 40 hours per week. Surgical services department with 2 OR rooms and 1 endoscopy room. Hospital based. EMR: Epic Surgical Cases: 4-5 per day, endo 10 and urology 8 block team-2 per day pain management cases Will oversee CRNAs. It could be a possibility to medically direct CRNA but try to fill with current Anesthesiologists. (mix of solo and medical direction cases) Level 1 trauma 19 anesthesiologists in practice Patient demographic: All ages OR staff - team model 23 ORs MUST have MI license Personal performance and medical direction NOTE: This is not a bread and butter practice. Applicants must be able to do more complex cases. They are not able to pick and choose certain cases. Sparrow will do their best to give them straight forward cases but, at times, their patients can be very complex. See PD for additional information. ****Orientation rate: must be 1/2 the hourly rate Prior to starting: 1. Provider must take an Epic training prior to start - can fill out waiver if they have years of experience. 2. Orientation prior to start is required Within 30 days of start: 1. Provider must have a physical and 5 panel drug screen (not reimburse-able) Requirement description : Board Certified - Required; No BE accepted BLS, ACLS, - Required MI License - Required List out specific availability in submission - Required Orientation is half the regular rate - Required COVID Vaccine - Required, note at time of name clear
