This role will work with stakeholders across various functions and locations; strong communication and an ability to build effective partnerships are critical for success. The Finance Manager will assist in developing and executing capital strategies with the goal of delivering financially sustainable outcomes.responsibilities: Business PartneringPartner with Supply Chain, Engineering, and other cross functional partners on evaluation and recommendation of capacity, capability, & productivity projects.Advise teams on financial needs for investments and ensure all financial considerations are reflected in the business cases through cost-benefit analysis.Build relationships with project management teams to understand financial project risks and opportunities.Own the onboarding and training for new employees with respect to appropriate capital governance and financial processes ensuring alignment with fairlife playbooks and standards.Be a trusted business partner to all cross functional colleagues who touch capital and act as the Finance voice in capital related meetings.Ownership of RoutinesLead and develop monthly forecasts, annual capital budget and 3-year strategic capital plan (LRP).Report out monthly capital scorecard, explain variances and forecast.Report out monthly productivity scorecard, explain variances and forecast. Ensure all implemented savings are quantified and reconciled back to the P&L. Develop and implement global best practices related to financial metrics, reporting, and management itiate capital Requests for Authorization (RFAs) for new capital investment projects, co-ordinate with leaders for approval.Create and Lead quarterly capital project financial post-mortem analysis, as the key metric to evaluate investments financial delivery.Lead the capital allocation process and maximization of ROI on our capital spend across existing and future assets, including setting a path for long term capacity expansion /qualifications required: Bachelor s degree in business or economics related field required5+ years of finance experience in a CPG or manufacturing environmentExperience working in a cross-functional and highly collaborative environment, with demonstrated success in business partnering and influencingSelf-directed and motivated to work with minimum supervision, conferring with manager or others on more complex mattersAdvanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills is requiredAbility to handle ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environmentposition location: Chicago, ILreports to: Sr. Director Supply Chain FP&Atravel requirements: up to 20%exempt/nonexempt: exemptfairlife, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
