Said quite simply, the culture is amazing! Position Overview: Responsible for underwriting straightforward credit transactions, primarily to existing clients, with guidance from senior team members. Responsibilities: Spread and analyze business and personal financial statements; evaluate the information and prepare written presentations using current financial information and all other pertinent information Perform due diligence on prospective clients in order to obtain information used in the preparation of analysis Conduct industry analysis, risk grading and stress testing in the preparation of written credit analysis Attend meetings to discuss, as necessary, commercial credit proposals being presented by Loan Officers Inform Loan Officers when up-to-date financial statements are needed on a commercial account Work reviewed and monitored by senior team members Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's Degree in business, finance or accounting or equivalent experience Ability to analyze balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow information Ability to analyze personal financial information as presented by Credit Bureaus Working knowledge of Microsoft Access & Outlook, Word, Excel, Co-Star, and Moody's Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills Able to read, write, and speak English well Able to deal effectively, tactfully, and courteously with customers, visitors, and the personnel of other departments Ability to meet deadlines Ability to maintain confidentiality of information Desired: Assume additional responsibilities as assigned Maintain a neat and orderly work area Peapack-Gladstone Bank offers medical, dental, and vision coverage to full-time employees, in addition to a competitive PTO package and 401k match.
