We are currently seeking an Account Manager - Outside Sales who will maintain and manage the IL, WI, and MN territory by meeting and exceeding sales, gross profit, and unit goals. Maintain customer accounts to ensure advanced service and technical support to customers with on-site consultative visits on a regular and ongoing basis. What we'll get you doing: Conduct on-site customer visits to provide technical information on chromatography-related products and services. Develop and execute business plans, market analysis, and sales strategies for assigned territory to ensure that the territory meets sales, gross profit, and unit goals Conduct on-site product demonstrations and/or technical seminars, and attend local vendor shows and Develop relationships with new and existing customers and maintain information in the customer database system. Have a positive attitude, be a team player, and strive to learn and contribute to company culture. The essential requirements of this role include: Bachelor's Degree in a Life Sciences field. Previous experience in sales, customer-facing roles, and/ or lab experience. Requires analytical thinking and the ability to present clearly to large groups and individuals. Strong organizational skills, planning and assigning resources in a detailed fashion. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record. Travel: Up to 75% across 3 Midwest states IL, MN, and WI It would be a plus if you also possess: Good working knowledge of the chromatography consumables market, the biopharma industry, and various industry customers. The base salary range for this role is $95,000-$100,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
