Purchasing Manager

Summary: As the Purchasing Manager, you will lead the SAP ERP system implementation, including managing the Go-live phase, troubleshooting post-Go-live issues, and optimizing system integration. You will develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with the overall supply chain and business objectives. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles, with a focus on the construction or heavy equipment industry. Proven experience in SAP ERP implementation and Go-live project management related to purchasing functions. Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and cost control in a multi-site environment. Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and services for the company, with a focus on cost efficiency, quality, and supplier reliability. Ensure compliance with purchasing policies, contracts, and standards. Lead, manage, and mentor a team of buyers at multiple company sites, ensuring efficient and effective procurement processes across locations. Provide training, guidance, and development opportunities for purchasing staff to achieve individual and team performance goals. Certified in one or more of the following: Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) - ISM Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) - ISM Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) - APICS Lean Six Sigma or process improvement certifications Great Additional Skills: Expertise in SAP ERP systems and advanced purchasing tools. Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills. Leadership and team management experience, particularly in a multi-site environment. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities. Compensation: The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
