What You Will Be Doing: As a Machine Sales Associate you will support the Sales Managers and Sale Reps to develop and maintain strong sales administration competency and assist in day-to-day operations. This developmental role will serve as a resource for the assigned regional sales team to support territory PINS growth and help maintain retail presence and store locations. This person will also be responsible for establishing necessary relationships to learn and develop the skills to be positioned for future sales opportunities. Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for assisting Sales Team in day-to-day operations to meet / exceed revenue targets. Skill development thru sales rep mentor program (40% time) Assist Sales teams day to day (20% time) Special projects targeted towards market and segment growth within the region (20%) Assist regions in customer prospecting to promote new customer growth (i.e. sales blitzes, conquest campaigns, etc.) Compile information to aid sales reps in value selling (V.E.T, Turbo, CAT Advantage, competitive comparisons) Participate in product training to build expertise on value selling of machines, attachments, and technology offerings. Assist and maintain an excellent retail atmosphere for specific store locations in your set territory. Additional Responsibilities: Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner. Additional duties as assigned by manager. Who We Are Looking For: To be successful in this position you must have a strong desire to learn. You should be very self-motivated, disciplined and possess a sense of urgency with a desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to take direction and work in a team environment is essential to this position as well. Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree, Associate's Degree, or Technical School degree in related field required or Equivalent sales and equipment experience can be substituted. Required Qualifications/Skills: High energy, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic required Skilled in "˜Basic' computer applications - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Acrobat and other computer applications associated with assisting the sales team. The ability to communicate through email - sending & receiving notes, attachments, meeting notifications and working with a calendar function. Effective use of Cat Systems (or ability to learn) Preferred Qualifications/Skills: Industry or segment specific experience is preferred. Values: At Yancey Bros.
