Job Description Cabinetworks Group has an immediate opening for a Manager, FP&A role at our corporate office in Livonia, Michigan. This is an in-office position. JOB SUMMARY: Provides financial leadership and participates as a financial business leader to the Retail Sales team to drive growth and improve profitability. Develops financial reporting and analysis to support the evaluation of business opportunities and drive growth initiatives. Leads the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process for the Retail Sales channel. PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as the finance business partner to the Senior Vice President of Retail Sales Work closely with the Retail Sales leadership team to drive annual sales growth initiatives and improve profitability Lead the development of annual and multi-year plans for revenue, market share, contribution margin and selling costs Partner with Retail Sales team to prepare monthly incoming orders forecasts which drive our Sales and Operations Planning process Providing monthly financial performance updates in comparison to annual plan and forecasts, performing variance analysis and communicating the results to various stakeholders Build analytical models and tools to assess the impact of strategic decisions and product growth scenarios and make recommendations to the sales leadership team Assist in the development of sales incentive structures to drive improved ROI Monitor monthly sales representative and store KPIs to understand business drivers and identify improvement opportunities Perform sales and margin analysis by product line, customer and key products and recommend specific actions to improve results High exposure to senior leadership in Sales, Finance and cross functionally ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field. 5-7+ years broad financial analysis experience. Broad and deep business perspective from prior experience in manufacturing business environment Prior profitability analysis (business, product, and customer), budgeting, financial analysis, profitability and expense analysis and control experience. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams. Demonstrated successful ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure timely deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization. Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, independence and initiative without daily interaction with management.
