Optimize & Improve: Provide input into system design, make hardware/software trade-offs , and integrate Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) components. Collaborate with the Best: Work closely with fellow engineers and stakeholders to create robust and efficient software systems . What You Bring to the Table: Experience with C++ and multi-threaded programming , driving the development of software for real-time systems and data-intensive applications . Expertise in UNIX/LINUX operating systems , including RedHat or CentOS . Proven ability to develop and implement system configuration scripts in Python , ksh , csh , Bourne , and Bash . TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. Nice If You Have: Experience with software engineering methods , real-time systems , and signals analysis . Excellent customer relationship skills , including experience managing requirements and addressing feature requests. What You Need: Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in software engineering; or 11+ years of experience in lieu of a degree. Salary Range: $90,000 - $135,000 annually.
