Our client is currently seeking a Coordinator, Materials This is onsite in Bloomfield, CT - MUST be local 3+ month contract Job Title: Materials Coordinator Job Description:Administers and operates the organization's warehouses, including processing, packaging, and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment.Accounts for all materials and supplies in the stores facilities; audits goods received into the warehouse.Oversees receipt, storage, and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.Qualifications:Knowledge acquired through experience, specialized education, or training.Clearly defined procedures and tasks with guidelines to aid in decision-making.Basic understanding of work routines and procedures in own discipline.Well-defined technical procedures for this level.Expected to follow detailed and defined rules/instructions and make simple judgments in straightforward requires selecting between solutions already established.
