Overview: Knowledge Services is currently hiring a passionate Senior Web Forms Developer to write clean code and contribute toward the maintenance and development of creative solutions using modern DevOps and Agile processes and tools. This is a hands-on role focused on designing and developing high-quality and innovative software that complies with industry best practices and secure coding guidelines. The ideal candidate will help generate innovative ideas, provide process improvement suggestions, and collaborate closely with other developers on the team through Agile engineering practices like pair programming. You'll join a team that is passionate about transforming our product. This role offers a hybrid work environment. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and unit test C# and VB web applications, Web Services, and Web APIs with a SQL Server database backend Focus on maintaining, enhancing, and modernizing legacy applications Build and maintain applications that adhere to good design patterns and practices (DRY, SOLID, testable, etc.) Promote best practices and industry standards as well as internal development standards Perform design and code reviews and help maintain code quality, performance, and application responsiveness Generate innovative ideas and provide process improvement suggestions Assist in evaluating and recommending technical solutions Collaborate with the team and encourage the development of team members Qualifications: 5+ years of industry experience in analysis, design, and development Prior Agile development experience A comprehensive knowledge of lifecycles, design patterns, and web application best practices Strong full stack developer with extensive database experience Experience with , C#, CSS, and JavaScript Experience with SQL Server, stored procedures, and ORMs Experience working with Cloud technologies Experience moving Web Forms from IaaS to PaaS hosting environment a plus Prior DevOps experience (Infrastructure as code, CI/CD, etc.) Ability to elicit requirements and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience working with a team and sharing ideas Knowledge Services strives to offer an environment that provides our employees with the right balance between work and family.
