Sr. Software Engineer : SAIC

Interview : Phone and skype Candidate should have an Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one Description: A Day in the Life: The Software Engineer will work with stakeholders in collecting requirements, designing, testing, implementing, and maintaining core application software. Duties include but are not limited to: Support the development of an integrated solution to manipulate and manage DOJ data Work as part of an Agile development team to conduct systems design, analysis, and development of the solution Translate requirements and wireframes into code Prepare and maintain documentation What we are expecting from you (i.e., the qualifications you must have) Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience Development experience with PL/SQL and JavaScript Experience with or C# to the level required to modify and/or debug existing code Experience developing enterprise-level applications and supporting end-to-end systems development and delivery in an Agile environment Experience with systems integration (i.e., moving data from one system to another, integrating functions between applications, experience with ETL, work with APIs, advanced level expertise with scripting languages) Relational database experience Demonstrated experience writing well-structured code and applications using coding best practices to deliver enterprise applications Proficiency working with source control (Git, TFS, Azure DevOps, etc.) Ability to obtain a secret clearance - May begin work on an interim clearance What we are desiring from you (i.e., the nice-to-have qualifications): Ability to work as an individual or part of a team Experience with Dataiku, Appian, or other low code/no code platforms Experience with NoSQL databases Experience with data analytics to include programing in python to support Client and AI applications Experience with the MVC framework What We Will Provide in Return: Multiple health insurance options which include a PPO plan with ZERO deductibles and an HSA plan. 401k Immediate Vesting.
