JOB DESCRIPTION DEPARTMENT: Production REPORTS TO: Shop Supervisor EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full Time Position Summary: Build automated equipment utilizing mechanical and electrical prints. Candidate needs to have a strong background in mechanical knowledge, some electrical knowledge helpful, but we are willing to train this aspect of the job. We are a family-owned business that produces equipment for the fenestration industry. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Assemble machinery according to assembly drawings. Perform basic electrical wiring. Be able to use Hand Tools. Exercise safe work habits and maintain a clean and safe working area. Reliable Attendance. Some on site customer installs. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Previous experience working in job shops, machine build, or fabrication a plus. Ability to operate machinery such as manual lathes, mills, and drill press a plus. Be able to read Mechanical or Electrical Blueprints. Demonstrate an attitude of teamwork. Associate Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred but not required. Pay, Benefits Negotiable based on experience. Company match 401k. Health, Dental, Eye, and Life Insurance. Vacation and PTO time.
