Sous Chef

Job Title: Sous Chef Department: Food and Beverage Reports to: Executive Chef The Sous Chef is responsible for ensuring that all meals coming from the kitchen are well prepared in terms of quality, consistency, eye appeal, taste, and food cost. He/she is expected to provide training for all staff, meet corporate quality standards; and assist in establishing and enforcing food specifications, portion control, recipes, and sanitation. The Sous Chef is also responsible for controlling food and labor costs while maximizing guest satisfaction. Is this the job for me: Advanced cooking skills including knife handling. Basic math skills for adapting recipe quantities as needed. Must be 18 years of age or older. Flexible and long hours sometimes required. Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Availability to include weekdays, weekends, evening, and holidays. Ensure the safety and well-being of our guests. Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment. Must be able to speak and read the English language, additional languages a plus.
