We are looking to hire a full time Account Manager II on the Food Away From Home sales team. The new hire will work in a remote office, located in Southern CA. Top 50 company for Diversity and have multiple Sustainability awards (ranking #22 in the World and #1 in Food Products) • Wellbeing programs including Physical, Mental and Financial wellness • Tuition assistance Under the general supervision of the Director of National Accounts, the SoCal based Sr. Account Manager role is responsible for the achievement of McCormick sales goals by growing the Food Away From Home (Foodservice) business in CA, NV and AZ. In this role, your time will be spent partnering with key customers to help drive their business forward, partnering with the broker to ensure McCormick imperatives' are executed and leveraging McCormick's internal partners (Insights, Marketing, Culinary and Strategic Business Management) to deliver differentiated results. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage, educate, partner with broker's network of chain sales representative to drive sales, GP and key initiatives. Create, develop, and maintain direct relationships, at various levels of the organization, for the largest operators in the market to maintain current business while capitalizing on new opportunities Leverage resources from the insight, culinary and marketing team to create best in class customer support. Partner with the broker to identify, contact and win business at new/up and coming chains Leverage tools from the Strategic Business Management team to maintain alignment with key customers Be the subject matter expert in your market and keep cross functionals and the leadership team informed on key themes and trends. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of experience in Food Service and managing Food Service Brokers Bachelor's Degree Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities required. Strong communication and presentation skills required. Ability to Travel 50%; Occasional weekends necessary. Experience in training and managing a food service local broker team. Excellent interpersonal (written and verbal) communications skills with a demonstrated ability to work across functions & cultures and interact with all levels of the organization required. Demonstrated ability of being a dynamic self-starter, to work independently and apply sound judgment to solve complex problems. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects at once, work under pressure, apply judgment and ask for aid in prioritizing as applicable required. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to resolve issues required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS BA in Business or related discipline. Experience in Sales Management with Leading Consumer Packaging Company. Experience participating on projects, supporting key initiatives with the business, preferred. HQ relationships with Major Broadline Food Service Distributors #LI-SM1 Base Salary: $86,390 - $151,220 Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick's Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
