Engineer Sr

Engineer Sr: Designs, develops, and deploys platforms and applications. Develop, plan, and implement platforms. Develop design patterns and coding standards. Responsible for identification, creation, socialization, adoption, and maintenance of library and shared code. Develops developer tool solutions, process definition, administration, and support. Design and implement security controls, and engineer to meet compliance controls. Decompose, plan, and estimate small to medium sized efforts in both waterfall and agile. Conduct automated unit and integration testing efforts, and system and integration testing efforts. Contributes to deployment approach, planning and execution, data conversion approach, and scripts and execution. Creates and maintains KPI metrics reports, provides trends analysis for recurring issues, and prioritizes prevention and remediation efforts for recurring issues. Responsible for admin user guides, knowledge base articles, and other support tools as well as troubleshooting, audit, and system health queries. Responsible for requirements elicitation activities, gap analysis, and backlog grooming. Manages work intake, workflow, and status through established tooling. Builds strong vendor relationships to influence vendor product roadmaps. Telecommuting permitted up to 20% per week. Full time employment, Monday -- Friday, 40 hours per week. Pay range: $163,862 - $211,600 per year. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), Information Systems, or a related field and 4 years of experience in a software engineer or related role. Must have 4 years of professional industry experience with software development in C# and Core WebAPI. Must have 4 years of experience in applying software engineering fundamentals, including knowledge of design patterns and OO coding principles. Must have 3 years of experience with architecture, design, implementation, and delivery of secure services that perform at scale. Must have 3 years of experience in working with distributed systems and architectures, including SOA, SaaS, and microservices approaches. Must have 2 years of experience in performing cloud implementations in Azure or AWS. Must have 3 years of experience in developing with relational (including MySQL or SQL Server) and non-relational, NoSQL databases (including Cassandra or Cosmos DB).
