Senior solutions architect (AWS)

Position: Senior solutions architect (AWS and Java microservices) Mode: Full Time Location: Jersey City, NJ (Onsite) AWS cloud technologies and Document Management systems Technical Skills: • 10+ years of experience in solutioning with AWS cloud (Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SX, Glacier, OpenSearch, EventBridge, Appsync, Step Functions) • Strong understanding and architectural experience with Microservices • Design experience in RESTful services and API development • Experience with SOA principles, design patterns, integration patterns • Hands on experience with Mulesoft integration, Java/Spring Boot, NodeJS • Performs technical planning, architecture and provides day to day technical leadership for all tracks - Front End, API Development, Content Migration Support, etc. • Enforce standards, industry best practices, coding best practices, security best practices, OWASP Issues and resolutions • Strong Solutioning Experience: o New development, migration, modernization o Assesses technical feasibility of business requirements. o Estimation techniques o Keep one-self up to date with technology • Organizational activities such as: o Center of excellences o Evaluation of technologies o Contribute to accelerators, reusable components o Technical papers o Trainings • Ensuring that architectural solutions met technical and functional requirements. • Reviewing existing system architecture and recommending improvements and participating in engineering reviews to determine any ambiguities. • Good knowledge of DevOps and ability to implement CI/CD Process Skills: • Ability to work and thrive in a collaborative development environment following Agile SCRUM Behavioral Skills : • Practice development and management, strategic, operational, financial aspects. Mentoring/coaching resources and people management. • Business Development: Pre-sales, RFP / proposals, client presentations • Excellent Skills in leading multiple teams with diverse background, coaching people and building excellent teams • Strong fundamentals in finance, marketing and management. Finance - NPV, Cost Benefit Analysis, TCO, ROI, payback period, etc. Strong grounding in financial and business aspects of decision making. • Excellent understanding and skills in IT services, onsite/outsourced and offshore delivery model • Sound understanding of Product development and management, challenges in product based companies and Service based companies and IT customer companies Certifications : • AWS solutions architect preferred.
