Floor Technician Full Time | Day Shift | Including Every Other Weekend $16.50-$19/hr (Pay based on experience) Keswick is located in Baltimore, MD. What will I do as a Floor Technician? Routine Floor Care: Dry mops, sweeps, and wet mops floors. Vacuums carpets. Cleans emergency spills observed or upon request. Periodic Cleaning : Strips, waxes and buffs floors. Shampoos, bonnets and extracts carpeting. Cleans upholstered furniture. Pressure washes wheelchairs. Restrooms and Common Areas: Cleans, sanitizes and disinfects restroom fixtures, counters and walls according to established procedures. Wipes down all hard surfaces. Common Areas: Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of common areas including dining rooms, stairwells elevators, storage areas, offices and other facility areas. Wipe down dining rooms, day rooms and the Caf? after meals. Cleans loading dock, tub and shower rooms, and other common areas. Trash: Collects and removes trash and biohazardous waste. Disposes of trash and waste according to established procedures. Laundry: Deliver containers of clean linens to nursing units first thing in the morning. Turnovers: Helps prepare vacant rooms to make them ready for move-in of new residents/patient. Moves: Moves facility property, resident belongings and office furnishings/equipment. Change curtains, draperies and cubicle partitions. Sets up and breaks down furniture for events. Performs other duties as assigned, including implementation of enhanced infection control procedures when needed, and assisting with evacuations and emergencies. What is required in this position? Requires High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Requires 6 months experience in a healthcare facility. What makes Keswick unique?
