About the role We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Facilities Manager. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, functionality, and smooth operations of our facilities, allowing us to deliver exceptional experiences for our guests and clients. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility maintenance, warehouse operations, unit deliveries, and related operations. Facility Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to ensure the proper functioning and longevity of all equipment, systems, and infrastructure within the venues. Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues promptly. Coordinate repairs and maintenance work with external vendors and contractors as necessary. Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality. Warehouse Operations Ensure stock of supplies for daily operations, including equipment for our various experiences, paper supplies, cleaning supplies, and more Coordinate delivery of supplies to multiple locations. Source product from external vendors, finding best pricing. Janitorial Operations: Supervise and motivate janitorial staff, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively. Schedule janitorial staff, ensuring that there is coverage at all requested times for each location. Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinate the procurement process. Implement and enforce health and safety protocols, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials. Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation, such as maintenance logs, cleaning records, and safety reports, ensuring compliance with legal and internal requirements. Qualifications Bilingual (English & Spanish) Preferred Previous experience in facility management, delivery logistics, or a related field, preferably in an event venue or hospitality setting. Clean Driving Record Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Effective leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in using computer software and tools relevant to the role. The pay range for this role is: 50,000 - 56,000 USD per year (Washington DC)
