Production Shift Lead The Production Shift Lead is responsible for overseeing the production operations during your designated shift. Your primary role is to ensure the efficient and smooth functioning of the production line while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Become a part of our commitment to continue to create truly enjoyable snacks!Responsibilities:Supervision:Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards. Training and DevelopmentTrain new employees on production procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols. Provide ongoing coaching and support to existing team members to enhance their skills and performance. Production Management:Monitor production processes to identify and address any issues or bottlenecks that may arise. Make adjustments to equipment settings as needed to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.Quality Control:Conduct regular inspections of products to ensure they meet quality specifications. Take corrective actions as necessary to address any deviations from standards.Safety Compliance:Enforce safety regulations and procedures to create a safe working environment for all employees. Conduct safety training sessions and promote a culture of safety awareness among your team. Inventory Management:Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure adequate supplies of raw materials and packaging materials are available for production. Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to avoid shortages.Documentation:Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production output, downtime, and quality control checks. Prepare reports summarizing key performance metrics for management munication:Serve as the primary point of contact between management and production staff. Relay important information regarding production goals, schedule changes, and company policies to team members.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree in a related field preferred. Previous experience in food manufacturing or production environment preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures. Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and processes.Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Working Conditions: Exposure to noise, heat, and food production environment. Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Salary and Benefits: Salary range varies depending on experience.
