(VISTA) is currently seeking a junior Financial Analyst to support our NAVSEA customer located in Crystal City, VA. This is a hybrid position reporting onsite 3 days/week. Responsibilities: Supports program Business Financial Management (BFM) Team responsible for financial/budget execution Performs budgeting, funding execution, and financial analysis to ensure accurate allocation and utilization of financial resources Updates and monitors spend plans and budgets with multiple types of appropriations Reviews financial data and documentation for compliance with government requirements Manages multiple tasks and completes within the time frame specified by the program manager, prepares briefs, status reports and presentations Works independently and with BFM team Communicates with internal and external teams Supports a variety of financial tasking, special projects, data calls and updating congressional briefs Certificates/Security Clearances/Other Required: Active DoD Secret clearance required Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities Basic Qualifications: Active DoD Secret clearance required Bachelor's degree preferred 1-3 years of relevant federal/DoD financial/budget experience Experience providing client-facing support to federal/DoD programs (Navy/NAVSEA programs desired) Familiarity with DoD Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) cycle Familiarity with appropriation funding obligations, expenditures, and benchmarks Understanding of DoD/DoN procedures and policies (DoD 5000 process) Experience with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Prior experience working in a fast-paced work environment Proficiency with MS Office365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) This position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
