We are looking for a passionate licensed Dietitian/Senior Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary New York City team and contribute to our goal of making a difference. With us, you'll be part of the next frontier in mental health care with an integrative treatment model and outcomes research approved by a third-party validated Institutional Review Board (IRB). We blend individualized therapy and skills coaching, hands-on family work, group-based clinical support and a bustling community and social Clubhouse experience unseen elsewhere in our industry. What You Will Do: Provides individual nutritional counseling for clients. Facilitates didactic and skill-based groups (i.e. psycho-education, meal planning. grocery shopping, and experiential food activities) on-site and off-site in the community, as clinically indicated. Co-facilitates process groups about food, eating, and body image. Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning and uses treatment plan to inform all nutrition and exercise services. Conducts Nutritional Assessments of all newly admitted clients. Maintains caseload of clients who need regularly planned and scheduled meal planning and dietitian support. Participates in the development and implementation of new nutrition and fitness groups. Participates in marketing initiatives and meetings as needed. Communicates with all referral sources and coordinates care with external providers on a regular basis. Maintains accurate and up to date charts that are in compliance with expectations and standards. Participates in Chart and Utilization Reviews as needed and instructed by Operations. Participates in weekly supervision with Supervising Dietitian, four times a week group supervision, and co-facilitator supervision as indicated by direct supervisor. Manages and oversees ordering and stocking of food for the site. Work up to 2 evenings per week. Able to work weekend programming on a rotational basis. What You Need To Qualify: Registered Dietitian license required. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in a clinical / behavioral health setting. EDO experience preferred.
