Description This position will be responsible for starting a new data management and governance function within the Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) sales organization. This role will be responsible for helping to establish standard business governance processes for structuring and maintaining key customer data sets critical for managing our business. This role will be heavily involved in our data design and processes, and will help the team to implement standards that is scalable for cross-organizational programs. The role will focus on driving high quality data outputs while constructing standard data and processing policies. As a key member of the Strategic Planning and Insights team, this person will take ownership of existing programs while also driving net-new initiatives from inception to execution to measuring outcomes. A successful individual will have the ability to think strategically, display strong analytical and critical thinking skills. The candidate must have a propensity to dive deep into data, make connections and draw conclusions. The candidate must also be able to build strong cross-group working relationships and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. About Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. Basic Qualifications 7+ years of Microsoft Excel experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc. Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent Experience in business-process design or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools Experience presenting to senior leadership Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
