Software Engineer

Job Description A global manufacturing company is seeking a highly-skilled Software Engineer to support ongoing development and improvement efforts for applications across multiple sites globally tailored to product quality, manufacturing execution, and supply chain. This individual will join a small but growing team, with growing demand, that oversees multiple workstreams and critical business functions within plant sites. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for both programming from scratch as well as evaluating already existing systems to implement new functionalities requested by internal business partners. The ideal candidate should have strong, hands-on coding experience with SQL, C#, VB, and NodeJS, experience with website development to support future needs, and experience utilizing GitHub. Additionally, if the candidate has scripting experience (powershell or python), Power BI knowledge, experience working in data processing platforms (LIMS or SAP) related to MES systems, and/or a degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, that would be an added benefit. This is an immediate, 6-month contract to hire opportunity and requires 2-3 days onsite in Newark, DE.
