Operations Manager - Home Care

Company Overview: At Always Best Care Senior Services of Fairfax we provide non-medical services that allow clients to live more independent lives at home wherever home may be. We also provide support services connecting clients with Assisted Living Communities or alternate housing. Position Summary: The Operations Manager reports directly to the franchise owner/CEO and is responsible for guiding and coordinating the key activities of the agency. This position includes leadership opportunity and can grow to management of all departments, including scheduling, client care, caregiver recruitment and retention, marketing and sales. Role & Responsibilities: * Enhance office communication protocols and streamline administrative procedures * Set standards for a client and caregiver-centric office * Maintain and grow existing business while increasing client census and workforce size * Communicate the agency mission and philosophy to clients and family members * Collaborate with the owner to improve client support, enhance client satisfaction, and maintain healthy care provider morale * Interview, hire, orient, and train caregivers * Ensure the correct caregivers are matched with the correct clients * Utilize WellSky (formerly known as ClearCare) software * Mentor, coach, and provide ongoing training to caregivers * Ensure top-notch service delivery and quality assurance follow-up * Build and maintain business relationships with referral partners * Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience * At least two years of supervisory/managerial experience * Excellent follow-up, planning and organizational skills * Results oriented, works well independently and under pressure * Passionate about helping others maintain their independence and dignity in their homes * Passionate about supporting the caregiver population to achieve their professional goals Preferred Experience/Capabilities/Qualifications: * Supervisory/managerial experience in healthcare a plus * WellSky (ClearCare) experience a plus * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills * Problem solving, creative and self-driven.
