Leading a team of tax professionals to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax projects for clients. Developing and implementing tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize savings for clients. Serving as the primary point of contact for client relationships, providing excellent customer service and expertise in tax matters. Keeping abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide proactive guidance to clients. Managing the preparation and review of complex tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities. Supervising and mentoring junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their professional development. Collaborating with other departments within the firm to provide a comprehensive and integrated approach to client service. Participating in business development activities, including identifying new opportunities for client growth and expansion. Conducting tax research and analysis on complex issues to provide recommendations and solutions to clients. Developing and presenting tax training sessions to educate clients and team members on tax laws, regulations, and best practices. Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws Representing clients in tax audits and disputes with tax authorities, providing guidance and support throughout the process. Developing and implementing internal processes and procedures to streamline tax preparation and improve efficiency within the tax department. Assisting in strategic planning and decision-making to support the firm's long-term goals and objectives. Collaborating with senior leadership to contribute to the overall growth and success of the firm, including participating in strategic planning and business development initiatives.
