About the job CDL A Truck Driver - Recent CDL A Graduates Wanted! Join our team as a Class A Truck Driver! We welcome experienced drivers and recent graduates from accredited driving schools. Begin your journey with us by pairing with a trainer for OTR routes using 53' Dry Van Trailers. After training, you'll transition to running the Eastern Seaboard Regional. Position Details: Route: Eastern Seaboard Regional Freight: 100% No Touch Dry Van Training: New drivers: Complete a 4-6 week OTR training with a trainer. Experienced drivers: 6 months or more can skip training. Home Time: Bi-weekly Orientation: Held at the nearest hub location based on driver residence. Schedule: Must be available to drive both day and night. Average Weekly Miles: Approximately 2,500 Compensation & Benefits: Trainee Pay: $650/week during training period (4-6 weeks) Mileage Pay: $0.55 - $0.65 per mile based on experience Weekly Earnings: $1,200 - $1,400 Additional Pay: $15 per stop Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package after 30 days, including medical, dental, 401(k), and paid time off (PTO). Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL License. Graduation from an accredited truck driving school with a minimum of 120 hours of training. Must have held a driver's license for at least the last 12 months without major violations. Clean driving record: No at-fault accidents, major tickets, or suspensions in the past 3 years. No prior terminations from previous employment. No DUIs in the last 5 years, or more than two DUIs in a lifetime (if the offense occurred before obtaining a Class A License). All criminal records will be reviewed by our safety team. Ability to pass a urine and hair pre-employment drug screen.
