Floor Technician

Job Summary :We are seeking a bilingual, detail-oriented, and reliable individual to join our team as a Cleaner/Floor Technician across multiple locations. This position involves performing a range of cleaning duties as well as specialized tasks related to floor care and maintenance. The Cleaner/Floor Tech will ensure all areas of our facilities are clean, organized, and presentable according to company standards and guidelines. The candidate must have a car, a flexible schedule, and be willing to travel across all projects. Responsibilities : Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning in various areas of our facilities. Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation in all assigned areas, focusing on high-traffic zones, restrooms, break rooms, and common spaces. Clean and sanitize surfaces, fixtures, and equipment to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a hygienic environment. Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed. Restock janitorial supplies and keep inventory of cleaning materials. Assist with the setup and breakdown of events, meetings, and gatherings. Handle and report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions. Operate and maintain floor care machinery, such as floor buffers, burnishers, and carpet cleaning equipment. Perform specialized floor care tasks, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing floors. Collaborate with team members to prioritize cleaning tasks efficiently according to schedules. Adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff. Requirements : High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial roles is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment. Expertise in floor care procedures, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning. Ability to operate and maintain floor care machinery. Bilingual proficiency is required. Must have a valid driver's license and own a reliable vehicle. Flexibility to work different shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed across multiple locations. Willingness to travel across the projects. Strong time management skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
