FP & A Specialist - Techno Functional

Role: FP & A Specialist - Techno Functional Type: Contract Contract Duration: 11 months Work Location: Jersey City, NJ The role will require significant data analysis work, support for existing tools and processes, and assistance in migrating to the new SaaS platform, "Board Enterprise Planning Platform". As the candidate will be interacting with business users, strong communication skills are a must. Description: The purpose of this position is to support FP&A reporting platforms and associated technical. Responsible for all techno functional support aspects of current FP&A applications (with ERP/GL experience) while we migrate to a new SAAS vendor platform. Must be a strategic thinker and demonstrate leadership elements and considerable independent judgment and initiative in carrying out project objectives. Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting by working closely with Corporate Finance FP&A Controllers and managing a team of data engineers to ensure data accuracy and leading to optimal processes and procedures for analytics employees to follow. Should have the aptitude to learn newly introduced Financial ERP Cloud applications and ancillary Finance platforms. Must have Dimensional Reporting Knowledge, with the ability to develop complex SQL scripts and stored procedures with Hyperion, Essbase, Smart View, web forms and reports. Experience with financial statements, including income statements, balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow is a must. Qualifications: Minimum 10 years Hands on experience with implementation, development, and support experience with various Reporting Platforms, preferably gained within one or more financial institution. Deep Financial management reporting, forecasting and budgeting experience in the Financial Services arena. Preferred knowledge in both Oracle Database Schema and Snow-Flake Schema data modeling techniques Create and maintain data forms, calculation scripts, MAXL automation, schedule jobs using batch scripts and business rules Develop and maintain Block Storage Outline / Aggregate Storage Outline (BSO/ASO) cubes Knowledge of Reporting Tools Hyperion BI+ (Web Analysis) Hyperion Reports 7.x/9.x, Hyperion Analyzer 7.x, Hyperion Excel Add-in, Smart View. SQL Loader functionality to interact with Essbase Cubes to and from with Oracle Database Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written Experience with this combination of software: Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System Workspace Hyperion Essbase Hyperion Planning Hyperion Shared Services Essbase Essbase Integration Services Excel Add-Ins Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio Interactive Reporting Studio Dashboard Reporting SaaS Reporting Tools Workflow / AI Machine Learning Familiarity with Board Enterprise Planning Platform is would be a plus.
