Senior Accountant

A nonprofit services organization in California is currently seeking an experienced Accountant for a promising Senior-level position with their team. In this role, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for a range of accounting tasks, including financial reporting for investors, month-end close processes, and more. ***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.*** Responsibilities: The Senior Accountant (Hybrid) will: Prepare and analyze financial reports for investors and other stakeholders Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks Assist with payroll processing and payroll accounting Maintain effective communication with the finance team and other departments. Proactively address accounting challenges and find effective solutions Contribute to the company's financial growth and success Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: 3+ years of Accounting experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Knowledge of Payroll Processing and Payroll Accounting Proficiency in QuickBooks and ADP (or similar software). Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized Desired Skills: CPA or parts passed Experience with ADP
