The Market Intelligence Analyst, will assists in the commercialization of a large portfolio of inventions by supporting market intelligence activities focused on assessing the viability of new medical technologies as part of a cross functional team. The primary focus of this position will be on biopharma therapeutics and diagnostic technologies.The ideal caregiver is someone who:Has three years of experience in one or more of the following areas: healthcare market research, financial analysis, business modeling, or technology commercialization. OR Advanced degree may offset up to 2 years' experience.Demonstrates understanding of medical technology and healthcare industry market trends and comfortable working with large data sets (e.g. Excel).This is a rewarding opportunity that offers growth-oriented projects, mentorship, support, and resources. When you join Cleveland Clinic, you'll be part of a supportive caregiver family that will be united in shared values and purpose to fulfill our promise of being the best place to receive care and the best place to work in healthcare.Responsibilities:Assists in the commercialization of a large portfolio of inventions by supporting market intelligence activities focused on assessing the viability of new medical technologies.Conducts market research studies to provide timely and accurate information in the assessment of business opportunities across a large portfolio of intellectual property.Collects, compiles and analyzes data from primary and secondary sources to construct procedure and product sales models, target market profiles, demographic and epidemiological models, competitive technology profiles, pricing and reimbursement analyses, and investment benchmark analyses.Conducts prior art searches and patentability assessments.Prepares reports, presentations and informational briefs to communicate market research findings and recommendations to internal and external clients.Participates in strategic planning efforts and supports operational decision marking for portfolio technologies and companies.Other duties as assigned.Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Biomedical Engineering, Physical or Life Science, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.Certifications: None plexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work under limited supervision.Necessitates understanding of specific needs and requirements to apply subject matter expertise.Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Physical Requirements: Requires frequent sitting, normal or corrected vision and manual dexterity sufficient to perform work on a personal computer.Requires the ability to walk to various locations to attend meetings.Personal Protective Equipment:Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Pay RangeMinimum hourly: $27.65Maximum hourly: $42.17The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. While the pay range is displayed as an hourly rate, Cleveland Clinic recruiters will clarify whether the compensation is hourly or salary. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
