Position Overview The HR Operations Director will be a trusted partner and leader for the People & Culture team providing guidance and direction for our HR Business Partners & veterinary hospitals. This leader will lead the HRBP team and play a role in serving our Operations Team to support our most important asset, our Team Members. The HR Business leader will manage the People & Culture Business Partner team, who support regions of hospitals in Team Member relations, engagement, strategic development, and talent recruitment. Specific Responsibilities Develop a culture of high performance and strong leadership within our hospitals Review and help interpret HR issues that align with the organization's mission Develop, coach, and lead the HRBP team to partner with our hospitals & Operations team to address talent needs to support business growth including conducting strategic Talent Planning sessions. Provide coordination with the Talent Acquisition team in the development and execution of recruitment plans Provide leadership in the development of onboarding materials and Team Member orientations that build engaged team members at the hospitals Provide recommendations for the professional development of talent and ensure Team Members continuously learn and grow Support Team Member communications Research and share trends and direction regarding Team Member issues, continuously improving and enhancing the culture Drive improvement in key performance metrics, including Team Member Engagement, Internal Mobility, Attrition, Manager Capability, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Provide leadership and guidance in developing and driving People & Culture related Operating Mechanisms, including High Performing Organizational Reviews, Talent Reviews and the employee engagement survey process Monitor and respond to Team Member concerns/ attitudes and ensure fair, consistent, and effective application of policies and procedures for all associates Drive initiatives and ensures state and government regulatory compliance adherence. Key Skills and Qualifications Degree in Human Resources Management or related field Minimum 5-7 years' experience in HR and experience managing a team of HR Business Partners, Generalists, and Specialists Strong ability to develop relationships and partner with Team Members at all levels Proven leadership and managerial skills that foster teamwork, collaboration, and enthusiasm Excellent communication skills with the ability to analyze and present information in such a way that it is understood by everyone within the organization Extremely well organized and methodical in your approach to problem solving Strong ability to manage multiple tasks Paycor experience a plus Knowledgeable in the legalities of business law in relation to HR and employee employment rights and how to apply them within your day-to-day work, company policy documentation and staff welfare.
