Job Details An Am Law 100 law firm is seeking a qualified Securities Litigation Associate to join its thriving practice in the New York office. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced attorney to work on complex securities litigation matters. Key Responsibilities: Represent clients in securities litigation cases, including defending class actions asserting violations of federal securities laws. Conduct legal research and analysis on federal securities laws and related topics. Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Participate in discovery processes, including depositions and document reviews. Collaborate with partners and other associates on case strategy and trial preparation. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal precedents and regulations. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials. Qualifications: 2-3 years of experience in securities litigation at a nationally recognized firm or relevant legal experience. Substantial knowledge of federal securities laws. Experience in defending class actions asserting violations of federal securities laws is highly desirable. Strong legal research skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
