The Director of IT will report directly to the Business Leader for Marmon Commercial Trailer and have dotted-line reporting to the Head of IT for the Marmon Transportation Group. This role will have dotted-line reports, with possible direct reports in the future, including Support Specialists/Help Desk, third-party support organizations, and ERP/Application Administrators. This role will interact directly with department heads throughout the company to ensure IT meets the expected service levels. They will also interact with vendors and service providers. Knowledge and Experience BA/BS (or equivalent) in Information Technology or related discipline preferred. Able to demonstrate the ability to undertake the above responsibilities. Prior functional experience as a business analyst and/or project manager. 5+ Experience with enterprise-level ERP/MRP solutions, whether MS Dynamics 365, Infor, or Sage products. General knowledge of infrastructure components, including servers (MS Windows), services (Web, DNS, Active Directory, VoIP), and cloud platforms (VMware, Azure) Experience with databases (MS SQL) and Reporting/Business Intelligence tools (Power BI) Experienced with software lifecycle best practices such as unit testing, automated regression testing, and code management. Exposure to the software development life cycle and experience with Agile and Scrum development methodology. Experience managing 3rd parties and 3rd party SaaS. Knowledge of process and project management. 5+ Experience in manufacturing and distribution. Business knowledge of finance, distribution, manufacturing, and transportation functions/processes preferred. Strong Functional, Analytical, Presentation, Documentation, Training, customer relationship, and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication, planning, and organization skills. Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently.
