Position Objective: Senior management position responsible for overseeing the company's P&L in Massachusetts and Vermont. Onsite role- based in Wilmington MA. Responsible for managing the company's top line sales and profit growth directives. Should have an in-depth knowledge of managing both sales and operations teams; and have excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills. Key Accountabilities: Helps develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives and that identify new opportunities for growth. Establish sales targets for all sales channels within the division and monitor performance of direct reports against those targets. Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Manage sales team and outside independent sales rep network across all sales channels to ensure they have the tools, resources, and support to meet their sales targets; to include but not limited to coaching, mentoring, business reviews, and performance feedback. Develop a program for succession planning, sales development, and retention. Work with key vendors to ensure relationships are maintained, and expectations ae being met. Work with regional managers to implement pricing strategies consistent with regional budgets. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers. Ensure the highest level of communication, engagement, results and customer satisfaction with all distributors and key customers within the division. Collaborates with the executive leadership to carry out the organization's goals and objectives. Manage local department leaders - customer service, engineering, purchasing, warehouse and bid estimating. Collaborate with corporate functional leaders such as marketing, compliance, customer service, IT, finance to ensure branch strategies align with overall business objectives and needs. Manages sales budgets & trackers for the division and ensures that team is effectively using Salesforce CRM for client management and forecasting inventory needs. Prepare regular reports on sales performance and provide analysis and insights to executive management. Use sales data to make informed decisions about sales strategies, tactics, consumer trends and ideas. Lead and conduct sales meetings for the division sales team and quarterly business reviews for management. Prepare and deliver professional business proposals and revenues to executive leadership team and fellow peers. You are expected to be in the field 20% of the time working with and training direct reports. Work closely with the branch Service manager to develop technical talent and expand service offerings. Oversee Site leader in remote Vermont satellite branch and develop a strategy to increase business in this region. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains management level staff in the division. Mentor, motivate and inspire team to achieve their targets and goals. Oversees the daily workflow and daily workforce in Wilimington office Provides clear and concise communication of strategy, reports, expectations, and goals. Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations. Manages carefully the current remote rep sales team, and develops strategies for retention Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. Requirements Position Requirements: Four-year degree from an accredited university required. At least five years of related experience in successful management of others. At least 5 years of successful growth of topline revenue and sales. Excellent Leadership skills and experience. Excellent strategic thinking.
