The Cybersecurity & Trust Engineering team (CSTE) is the central driving force of Engineering and Cybersecurity solutions for CST and for Microsoft Corporate, External and Legal Affairs (CELA) as a whole. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to support this team. As part of the Core Engineering team within CSTE, you will work with other engineers and stakeholders to design, build, and support these secure, innovative, scalable, and mission-critical solutions. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond. #CELA Responsibilities Design, Develop, and support secure Cloud solutions leveraging Microsoft and Open-Source technologies across the entire ecosystem (e.g. Azure, Docker, Dynamics & Power Platform, using Microsoft .NET, etc.). Innovate with team stakeholders to rapidly build solutions to address updated compliance requirements as well as delight users and stakeholders. Investigate, use, and promote new technologies to help solve problems simply and efficiently. Other Embody our culture and values Qualifications Required/Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, service engineering, or systems engineering OR equivalent experience. 3+ years full-stack experience across a wide spectrum of cloud technologies in Azure, with knowledge of building solutions with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Dataverse. 3+ years of experience in designing and developing resilient, highly available, containerized microservices in Azure. 3+ years experience in enterprise application development using the Microsoft Stack. 3+ years experience building and running services at scale using modern DevOps practices. Additional or Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 8+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, service engineering, or systems engineering OR equivalent experience. 3+ years technical experience working with large-scale cloud or distributed systems. Experience building solutions with Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and Power Platform. Experience building secure services using Azure Front Door, API Manager, WAF, etc. Experience using modern DevOps best practices, including automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment/monitoring (Git and Azure DevOps or GitHub preferred). Experience troubleshooting and using failure analysis for live-site incident mitigation. Advanced communication skills and ability to collaborate with others. Curiosity with a desire to continuously learn and collaborate to grow yourself and your teammates. Passion to learn new technologies and architect innovative cloud-based solutions to challenging problems. Other Requirements: This position requires verification of citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Service Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
