ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Foster customer relationships in a team-based selling model Manage deliveries and troubleshoot problems during the order process Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary Develop new business and identify prospective customers Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products Drive to customers and prospects to ensure product delivery SUPERVISION: No direct reports. RELATIONSHIPS Internal: District Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, VP of Local Sales, Accounting/Credit Department, Merchandising and Marketing, Operations, and Customer Contact External: Customers, vendors, prospective customers WORK ENVIRONMENT Frequently outside the office environment working in the field visiting customers in variable weather and temperature conditions MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1+ year of sales experience preferred Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities Team player with exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and negotiation skills Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office products EDUCATION HS Diploma or equivalent CERTIFICATIONS/TRAINING N/A LICENSES Valid driver's license required & motor vehicle record must be in good standing PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS Must be able to perform a range of physical activities Job requires worker to stand, walk, drive vehicles, sit, lift, carry, grasp objects, and manipulate objects with varying frequency #LI-KG1
