Position Purpose: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Marketing Manager to join our marketing team at Old World Industries. Reporting to the Director of Brand Marketing, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of media and creative agency timelines and projects, the ongoing tracking and maintenance of our Integrated Marketing Plan and team KPI's, and assisting in the development and execution of content creation, brand strategy and research. The ideal candidate will have foundational media acumen, project management skills, and exceptional written communication abilities. Main Duties, Tasks, and Responsibilities of the Role: Media & Creative Agency Management: Oversee and coordinate day to day media and creative agency timelines, schedules and project deliverables. Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. Media Management: Leverage media experience (offline and digital) as a key liaison to media agency - working into the details to manage programmatic media buying, analytics, and insights to drive effective marketing strategies and campaigns. Analyze data to inform decisions and measure campaign performance, in partnership with agency. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and delivery. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to streamline processes and resolve any issues that arise. Communication: Craft clear and persuasive written communications for various purposes, including marketing materials, reports, and presentations. Tailor messaging to different audiences and platforms. Incorporate ideas and feedback from multiple internal stakeholders and teams. Integrated Marketing Plan: Regularly update and maintain the Integrated Marketing Plan with inputs from internal departments and agencies, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and objectives as well as ongoing changes throughout the year. Assist in annual IMPP (Integrated Marketing Planning Process) to create the plan for the following year. Key Performance Indicators: Provide data updates internally to update the Marketing Team Dashboard tool. Track and monitor Marketing KPI's. Work with Marketing team leadership to recommend adjustments to strategies as necessary to optimize results. Content Creation & Strategy: Help develop and implement content strategies across various channels. Create compelling and engaging content for digital platforms, print materials, retail programs and other marketing collateral. Help manage shoots and productions. Strategy & Research: Assist Marketing Director in strategic projects ranging from audience targeting to channel planning to brand strategy, including research design and implementation. Specific Business Partnering Responsibilities Develop and maintain a clear understanding of stakeholders' (internal and external) impact to business. Work with Marketing Leadership to deliver on Brand Marketing team's annual objectives. Actively collaborate with key internal functional groups such as Marketing, Sales, Operations, Technical/R&D, Information Technology and Finance to achieve growth objectives. Lead cross-functional teams to maintain and update the 2025 Integrated Marketing Plan and Marketing Dashboard. Manage day-to-day agency relationships working closely with existing partners and assist in looking for new partners as the company's needs evolve. Specific Leadership Responsibilities (managing others) Will be the day-to-day contact for our creative and media partner agencies and managing their timelines and deliverables. Internally, this position does not have any direct reports but will work closely with cross-functional team members at all levels. Travel Requirements 10% - opportunities with clients, customers, tradeshows, industry seminars and/or content shoots - in the US, Canada or Mexico Education, Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; and/or a non-Business Bachelor's degree with Marketing work experience. Experience: 3+ years of experience in marketing, or an advertising, digital, brand strategy, retail or media agency, with exposure to integrated marketing, brand strategy, media management, content creation, and project management. Skills: Foundational understanding of media, including programmatic advertising, analytics, and insights. Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Superior written communication skills with the ability to create clear, engaging, and persuasive content. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Creative thinker with a passion for innovation.
