On the Consumer Identity Mobile Team you''ll work on our internal SDK that empowers innovative banking features while keeping customers'' digital identities safe and secure. Our engineers are provided with top of the line Macbook Pros, high-end monitors and the necessary tooling to develop the best possible products with the least amount of friction. We operate in small, productive agile teams and use the best industry tools to collaborate across teams.What You''ll Do:Develop native iOS code for our internal SDK that powers digital identity experiences in Capital One''s mobile appsWork with technologies like CoreNFC, AVFoundation, Push Notifications, CryptoKit, and more in a Redux style architecture.Develop well-tested iOS client code that adheres to best practices and delivers on our Product StrategyPartner with architects and API teams on API designMonitor your awesome features with tools like New Relic and SplunkActively collaborate with Product, Design, and Analyst partners in an agile environment, driving team commitments and meeting our high quality bar for delivery.Be an active advocate for the mobile platform through both internal and external developer communitiesLead a cross-platform agile sprint team and manage junior to mid-level members of the teamConsistently share and advocate for best practices in our mobile teamsIdentify technical obstacles early and work closely with the team to find creative solutionsActively review pull requests and ensure adherence to Swift and other language idioms and best practicesContinue to learn new things about the iOS platform and digital Identity spaceCapital One is open to hiring a Remote Employee for this opportunityBasic Qualifications: Bachelor''s DegreeAt least 8 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)At least 4 years of people management experienceAt least 4 years of experience building iOS applicationsAt least 3 years of experience with Swift Preferred Qualifications: 7+ years of people management experience7+ years of experience building iOS applications4+ years of experience with Swift2+ years building internal or external SDKs on the iOS platform2+ years of experience with Agile practices2+ years of experience using iOS dependency management tools like Cocoapods or SPM1+ years of experience in the digital identity space1+ years of experience with monitoring or analytics tools like New Relic, Splunk, or FirebaseCapital One will consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization for this positionNo agencies please.
