Factory is seeking a seasoned Head of Sales to spearhead our efforts in engaging with large-scale clients and securing our position as a leader in AI-driven software development solutions. What you will do and achieve Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the enterprise market, promoting Factory's suite of Droids as essential tools for enhancing software development processes. Lead, expand, and mentor our sales team, instilling best practices for enterprise sales and fostering a culture of success and continuous improvement. Establish and maintain senior-level relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and positioning Factory as a strategic partner in addressing their software development challenges. Drive revenue growth by identifying new market opportunities, crafting tailored pitches, and negotiating complex deals with large organizations. Collaborate closely with the product, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure our product offerings and sales strategies align with market demands and client expectations. Monitor sales performance metrics, adapting strategies as necessary to meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in sales leadership roles within the technology sector, with a proven track record in enterprise sales and managing high-performing sales teams. Deep expertise in selling B2B SaaS or developer tools to large organizations, with an ability to navigate complex sales cycles and negotiate high-value contracts. Exceptional leadership qualities, with experience in hiring, training, and motivating sales professionals to achieve peak performance. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and the emerging role of AI in software engineering, enabling credible and informed conversations with technical decision-makers. Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, capable of developing innovative approaches to penetrate new markets and secure key accounts. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with a knack for building long-term relationships with a diverse range of clients from technical and non-technical backgrounds. A dynamic and adaptable leader, ready to drive growth in a fast-paced startup environment, passionate about revolutionizing the software industry through AI. The team goes into the office 5 days a week in San Francisco (walking distance to Caltrain).
