As a Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy with the DCP North America Consumer Marketing Team, you will help lead multi-year, go-to-market strategies and execution of communication plans across a variety of product categories and franchises - specifically focused on the Mickey & Friends and Classics portfolio (e.g. Stitch, Winnie the Pooh). You'll develop compelling marketing programs and work with internal Cast Members, external licensees and agencies across marketing strategy, creative advertising, PR and communications, customer engagement and commercial teams. You will be responsible for leading a team of marketing strategists to provide strategic input, build, shape, and implement integrated communication plans, evaluate creative, and monitor and analyze campaign performance as part of a dynamic marketing team. This position will report to the Director, Marketing Strategy. Responsibilities: Drive annual business results by developing full-funnel marketing programs that incorporate strategic planning, critical thinking, analytics and innovation across complex projects. Lead the North America marketing strategy development process, ensuring strong strategic inputs to partners. Drive follow-up processes and create timelines to keep overall marketing activations on schedule. Work with Commercial partners to build North America integrated marketing programs that support strategic objectives of the business. Lead a team of cross-functional partners as it relates to assigned projects and campaigns. Host regular meetings, sharing audience insights, and developing go-to market strategies. Drive the development and implementation of marketing communications programs and brand initiatives while ensuring tactical plans deliver against business objectives and strategies. Track trends, research and consumer insights to guide development of campaign roadmaps, briefs, and integrated communication plans. Assist in developing marketing budget forecasts in cooperation with leadership, track ongoing program expenditures, make monthly forecast recommendations, and keep management apprised of significant budget shifts. Lead a team of marketing strategists to develop campaigns, track implementation of programs, and conduct post-mortem analyses. Work closely with Marketing Strategy leadership to maximize message reach and maintain continuity across audiences. Develop a deep working knowledge of the DCP business and core consumers to help shape marketing strategies and franchise positioning to drive overall business goals. Basic Qualifications: 7+ years of relevant marketing experience, ideally in Marketing or Sales Strategy or Brand Management. Experience in developing and guiding teams on providing strong strategic input, communication planning, and campaign execution. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Keynote. Critical thinking and the ability to succinctly frame up a verbal or written POV/presentation that influences executive leadership, partners and peers. Exceptional verbal and written communication and project leadership skills. Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Proven ability to collaborate with and achieve actionable results through others, build strong and sustainable relationships, and interact at all levels of the organization. Strong organizational and time management skills. Experience in social media marketing, digital advertising, experiential/event-based marketing programs. Flexibility and proficiency in managing ambiguity and leading teams through changes in strategic direction and/or priorities. An optimistic professional who leads by example. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with national level campaigns and marketing target audience expertise. Knowledge of product development and new product launches. Previous work experience in Marketing Strategy, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Advertising Agency, or Brand Management. Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent experience. Preferred Education: Master's in Business Administration. The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $151,000.00 - $202,500.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
