Quality Manager - Direct Hire lnb Anticipating total comp to be $110K+ with over time (they are doing 40-60 hours a week currently). Essential Duties & Responsibilities •Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments, and directly supervise the quality assurance staff to ensure the meeting or exceeding of quality specifications and standards of ISO and ITAR. •Establish and implement quality procedures and specifications, testing procedures, and standards for raw materials, in-process and finished goods. •Audit quality systems, initiating corrective action as required •Develop and recommend inspection and sampling techniques and quality assurance plans. •Develop process control procedures ensuring production of finished products meet quality specifications and standards. •Develop training for and train employees on quality related practices and system requirements. •Produce quality reports; analyze information, and address and resolve problem areas. •Develop and lead cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality issues and to improve levels of quality and productivity. •Provide technical assistance to customers, vendors, and other departments of the company. •Resolve any quality issues. •Conduct research on product defects and recommend modifications in product or quality standards where warranted. •Review all complaints received from customers to determine corrective action. •Provide assistance to customers regarding quality problems or concerns. •Develop and maintain departmental budget; ensure maximum utilization of resources within budget constraints. •Ensure compliance with all housekeeping procedures and all quality and safety regulations. Education and/or Experience Requires a bachelor's degree and five to seven years of related experience; or ten to twelve years of progressively responsible related experience; or a combination of education and experience. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Solid understanding of the fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
