Job Description ITW is seeking a Tax Analyst to join its tax department. The role will focus primarily on US tax compliance for federal and state. The Tax Analyst will develop a broad base of tax knowledge and leadership skills that will support advancement opportunities. ** Responsibilities:** Prepare state income tax returns. Assist with audits and state notices. Prepare workpapers, calculations, and 1120 proformas for the consolidated US federal income tax return. Assist quarterly with domestic tax provision, federal, and state estimated payments. Perform tax technical research and write memos. Collaborate with various corporate departments and business units to ensure accurate reporting on tax returns. Participate in special projects, tax rotations, and supervising interns. Qualifications: Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field. MST, MSA, or CPA is a plus. Experience in tax or accounting. Research, analytical, and documentation skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal communication skills with a collaborative mindset. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. CorpTax or HFM a plus.
