We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Category Sourcing Manager - Others to join our procurement team. The Category Sourcing Manager- Otherswill play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers for various non-core categories within our supply chain. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of the nutraceutical industry, and a proven track record of optimizing sourcing processes. How will you contribute: Category Strategy Development: Develop and implement sourcing strategies for non-core categories such as packaging materials, indirect goods, and services to ensure cost-effectiveness and supplier reliability. Supplier Identification and Qualification: Identify potential suppliers, conduct comprehensive evaluations, and establish partnerships with those who meet quality, cost, and reliability standards. Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and service levels. Draft and manage contracts to mitigate risks and ensure compliance. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to drive continuous improvement, resolve issues proactively, and leverage opportunities for innovation and collaboration. Cost Optimization: Analyze market trends, benchmarking data, and internal spend patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize total cost of ownership. Risk Management: Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation plans to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including operations, quality assurance, and product development teams, to align sourcing strategies with business objectives and support new product launches and initiatives. Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, ethical sourcing practices, and company policies and procedures. Qualifications Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (E.g., CSCP, CPSM) preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a conus on packaging materials and/or raw ingredients progressive experience in sales leadership and customer operations. Also experience in material purchasing in nutritional supplement or food related industry is preferred. Proven track record of development and implementing successful sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and achieving cost savings targets while maintaining high-quality standards and supplier relationships. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze market data supplier performance metrics, and financial reports to drive data-driven decision making and strategic insights. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal key stakeholders and external suppliers across diverse cultures and geographies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with procurement software of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred. Demonstrated commitment to integrity, ethics, and compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Employees are eligible to participate in Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Holidays, Vacation, Tuition Reimbursement Program. The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
