About the role: As a Senior Software Engineer on the Client Integrations team, you will be a key player in designing and building the systems that facilitate seamless communication with our clients. You will ensure these systems scale as the company grows, are adaptable to changing needs, and remain reliable, performant, and compliant. Your expertise in complex data ingestion and ETL pipelines will be crucial in evolving our architecture to handle: Larger clients with unique requirements Increased system load The growing complexity of our organization and product offerings Challenges for this team include scaling our software services without increasing operational load. Your impact: Shape the Future: Lead the design and implementation of complex data ingestion and ETL pipelines that are robust, scalable, and maintainable. Your work will be central to our ability to process and integrate vast amounts of data efficiently. Innovate Daily: Champion innovation and best practices in data engineering, pushing the boundaries of technical excellence and driving continuous improvement in our data architecture. Collaborate and Thrive: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Legal and Compliance, Customer Success, and other engineering teams, to ensure our data systems support seamless client integrations and uphold the highest standards of reliability. Lead Major Projects: Take ownership of large-scale data projects, from planning and execution to delivery. Your leadership will ensure that these projects align with company goals and deliver significant impact. You might be a fit if you have: 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a strong focus on designing and building complex data ingestion and ETL pipelines. Proven experience leading the planning and execution of complex projects, particularly those involving large-scale data integration and processing. A deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures. Expertise in building scalable, efficient, and reliable data systems. Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and familiarity with serverless architecture. A strong interest in back-end development and a passion for solving complex data challenges. We offer transparent and equitable compensation packages to all existing and future January team members. Our compensation range for the Senior Software Engineer role is $160,000 to $210,000. We determine the final package by considering experience, applicable education and training, and relevant skills derived throughout our interview process.
