Summary: The Digital Account Manager for The San Diego Union-Tribune is responsible for supporting key clients and coordinating, tracking and optimizing digital campaigns across our entire portfolio of advertising solutions. You are a natural at building and maintaining strong relationships with attention to detail in managing a high volume of accounts while; maintaining satisfaction with key stakeholders at all levels. The Account Manager applies a data-driven, solution-oriented mindset to remove obstacles, and ensures a clear path to account success and growth. The Digital Account Manager is the main point of contact for all service-related matters, anticipates the needs of clients, and works cross-functionally to meet performance benchmarks and deadlines. What you will do: Become a knowledgeable client partner for San Diego Union-Tribune's digital advertising and marketing solutions, including programmatic, SEM, social, and content marketing Oversee advertising campaigns, with a focus on optimizing digital performance through data analysis and present monthly reviews to clients Develop and respond to RFPs, and craft digital-first brand and media strategies that align with clients' business goals and objectives Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and digital teams to achieve overall company annual targets Evaluate KPIs and optimize campaign performance using a data-driven approach Analyze data to provide insights that shape campaign strategies and educate clients on performance metrics for on-going strategic reviews Support the client buying cycle and manage all post-sales activities including proposal coordination, material and content collection, insertion orders, billing, and other on-boarding deliverables to help secure revenue and implement programs Increase customer retention by conducting regular digital performance checks to identify areas for improvement and perform data analysis for on-going strategic reviews Interface with Ad Operations to resolve issues and provide the highest level of customer service What you will bring: 4 year degree and relevant experience, preferably in an Account Management, Campaign Management, or Account Executive role Experience in Omni-channel marketing strategies including programmatic, social, SEM, and content marketing and an understanding of SDUT competitors within the digital advertising ecosystem Excellent planning, project and time management, and decision-making skills with the ability to self-manage numerous projects simultaneously Media planning capabilities using data, analysis, and market research Solid analytical skills, comfortable working with numbers Experience serving as the lead point of client contact and interfacing with/presenting to senior-level decision makers Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, while working as part of a team or independently High attention to detail and management of shifting priorities Positive attitude, high energy, and collaborative team spirit Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google AdWords preferred The hourly wage is $24.04 - $26.68. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, The San Diego Union-Tribune offers a comprehensive benefits package, and 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).
